Code of Professional Conduct

Upholding Integrity and Professional Responsibility

The Certified Global Professional Accountant (CGPA®) designation carries with it a responsibility to uphold the highest standards of professional conduct. All members and credential holders are expected to demonstrate unwavering commitment to integrity, objectivity, professional competence, confidentiality, and ethical behavior in all professional and business relationships.

The Code of Professional Conduct establishes the principles that guide the actions, decisions, and responsibilities of CGPA® professionals. It reflects the expectation that members act not only in the interest of their employers or clients, but also in service of the broader public interest.

Enforcement and Accountability

Adherence to this Code is a condition of holding the CGPA® designation. Violations may result in disciplinary review and appropriate action in accordance with institutional policies. Through accountability and ethical vigilance, CGPA® reinforces public confidence in the integrity of its members.
